The Penultimate Ranma Fanfic Index - The maintaner of this thing is insane. Every fic is listed alphabetically and slowly is being indexed by type and authors. My Favorite Fanfiction I always hate it when other sites post a bunch of links and I do not know which stories are good enough to read. The stories/authors on this list are my favorite. Will add more here as I remember them. Fission Park Press - The Fanfiction of J. Austin Wilde. Undeniably the best Ranma 1/2 fanfiction out there. Read Ranma Goes to War, Odyssey 1/2, Stigma. Read Battletech: The Saotome Gambit. This will be Mr. Wilde's last fanfic before he begins to publish his own novels. Richard Lawson's Fanfics - Ever thought sympathy for Kodachi was impossible? Read The Dying of a Rose (Sidestory to Thy Inward Love). No longer being updated. Sanctuary - A work in progress. An award-winning first fanfiction attempt by two new authors. A must read. Ranma 2096 - by Chris Willmore and others. Unfortunately unfinished and abandoned, but nevertheless awesome work. It takes a little bit to figure out what's going on, but some of the best writers in the business have written for this storyline. The site itself is a work of art as well. Don't get lost. Read all the sidestories.Very few are bad. Transpacific Fanfiction - A collection of fanfiction of various genre by various authors, starring mainly Alan Harum and Mike Loader. Read Ill Met By Starlight, Waters Under Earth, Did She Jump or Was She Pushed?. Lara Bartram's Fanfics - Lara's favorite characters are Kuno and Nabiki and no one could possibly match her grotesque, yet evocative portrayals of them. Some of these stories make you shudder. Read Brutal Reality (and sequels), You're Never Too Old. KaraOhki's Pagoda - The master, or rather, mistress of WaFF. The stories here make you laugh and love. Read The Substitute, It's All in the Genes, Love Pill Panic, A Calming Influence, Truth in Art, A Kiss to the Victor, Cinders. |
Updates and News! October 22, 2003: Like Laws for Amazons was released to the RAAC this morning. Within hours, I received an email from a famous author I respect and admire greatly who praised my work! Wow! I probably oughtn't say outright who it is to protect email privacy, but she writes happy fanfics and is listed under My Favorites. October 17, 2003: An inspiration and a one-shot fanfic. See Like Laws for Amazons. Some how I've picked up 1500 site hits in the last 3 months. Anyone know why? June 3, 2003: Forgive me, fans, for I have sinned. It has been a year since my last update and I have nothing to show. When my coauthor and I set out to write Sanctuary, we promised ourselves that we would never be like those authors who would write some and never finish. Now we know that fanfiction is a lot harder than it looks and we have a new appreciation for the authors of legend. I've added two new fanfic ideas, but more than likely they will not be written by me. I hope by the end of this summer, I'll have part 4 for you, but I just don't know anymore. My Fanfiction Ideas This area serves to store my story ideas until I get a chance to write them. If you would like to use one of these ideas, feel free! Just let me know so I can link your site! Ranma/Mulan Crossover Ranma/Survivor Crossover What if Ranma and the gang were in a situation where only one (or two) might survive? Or even better, in a Series 7 type deal, what if they had to ensure the others did not survive to win their prize? Ranma Reader's Adventure A Ranma Choose-Your-Own-Adventure type deal except that all the parts aren't written. After the release of each section, the readers are polled to see where the plot goes. Could be very cool or very cheesy. Alternate Engagements What if Ranma and Akane were engaged for reasons other than their parents. For example, if one or the other's life depended on the marriage. (ie citizenship or relationship issues.) Sanctuary II: Ressurrection What if Ranma had the chance to bring Akane back? What would he do? What of his new life would he forsake? Who can stop him? (set 20 years after Sanctuary) Sanctuary III: Soul Ranma's grandson is unwilling to marry and settle down. His father fills him in on the secret powers of true love. (set 40 years after Sanctuary II: Ressurrection, and 60 years after Sanctuary.) If I don't write the sequels to Sanctuary, when the time comes another author is welcome to pick up the story line. Bounty Hunter Ranma Most predicted professions for Ranma have been in the Yakuza, the Police, or as a Sensei. What if Ranma was a bail bondsman? (In the US or otherwise.) The Bridge on the River Kawaii This takes its name from the Alec Guiness movie of old. No idea really, just a cool title. I Will Fear No Evil In the spirit of the Robert Heinlein book of the same name. Ranga has an accident that destroys his body. Only a revolutionary new technique for a brain transplant can save his mind, but the only available body is Akane's... |
