June 3, 2002: I turned 19 on the 1st! No update yet. Added link to KaiPhantom's Vortex. His spamfics don't deserve a spot in my favorite fanfiction, but they do deserve special mention.

May 30, 2002: No update yet. New idea added for Bounty Hunter Ranma. It might be intersting to combine this idea with Sanctuary II.

May 28, 2002: Good news! We are NOT (contrary to popular belief) dead. Yes, there has been an unforgiveable delay, for that I apologize. Part 4 is well underway and will be completed by the end of June, probably earlier.

Thanks go to Quazim Kravshera for his motivational emails. Also thanks to Pikachu6242 for motivation to finish Part 3 (which sadly did not win a prize).

To be clear, well underway, means we've 1k out of 15k done, but the outline is done, and that's half the battle. Added ideas for Sanctuary sequels. (Yes, I know I'm getting ahead of myself.) Added yet another narcissitic web poll, but don't vote until Part 4 is out.

February 20, 2002: Good news! We actually won 9th place in the annual awards! A few more thanks to everyone who voted. Vote for Part 3!

February 18, 2002: Sanctuary has placed 10th in the annual awards. Thanks to everyone who voted. Part 3 is being voted on now!! Vote here. Honestly, there has been no work done on part 4. Not even an outline. But we promise it will be done. Sanctuary will be completed or we will die trying.

August 01, 2001: Our Website has moved to http://ranma.sundararanga.com . Please update your bookmarks accordingly. I apologize once again to all our readers. Life is tough. Vinita is in India and shortly we'll both be starting college. Part 3 is about half done and we'll get it to you as soon as we can. If people can't wait, I can send the few parts that are written. Email me to request anything. All I have is what I've written. Please vote for Part 2 at the awards site. THIS PAGE WILL NO LONGER BE UPDATED!!!!!!

July 06, 2001: Much to our frustration Part 2 has not been distributed to RAAC even still. Worse, Vinita and I are too busy this summer to finish Part 3. We're doing what we can, but our July 1 due date will not be met. Check here every once in a while to see what's up. We apologize in advance for the delay.

June 20, 2001: Part 2 REposted to RAAC. Hopefully it'll make it this time. Writing the really cool Ranma vs. Ryoga fight scene... well hopefully it'll be really cool. Tentatively, this page will be moving here, but no real page has been set up yet. I'll post a big link when the move is complete. Added a lazy link (for me) and a fanfic link that I happen to be reading right now. And just generally moved some things around at the bottom of the page just because I can.

June 16, 2001: *sigh* After leading the polls for 10 days straight, Sanctuary 1 lost to a dark horse fanfic. Anyway, we won second place! Thanks to everyone who voted! Part 3 is chugging along. For some reason, Part 2 has not made it through the moderator for RAAC but I guess it will eventually. Well, remember to vote for Part 2 when the time comes!

June 14, 2001: Keep voting for Sanctuary 1 at the Best of Ranma Fanfiction Awards! Homestead is going to be charging for its services from now on. So unless someone wants to send me $10/month, this page will be moving. Not sure where, just yet. However, they will give me a page or two so I will be able to redirect you when the time comes.

June 08, 2001: After some thought added yet another poll. How much blood and death would you like to see "on-screen" in Sanctuary. Part 2 had decidedly less. Increased the size of the updates and news area to allow the last three updates to fit on the main page. Vinita and I graduate high school on Sunday. Yay! We hope and aim for Part 3 to be released on July 1. Part 4 may or may not be released on August 1. It may wait a month to let us recover from Summer Break.

June 06, 2001: Same day, 7 hours of sleep later. Remember never to update your websites at 2 AM. Mind you we were up that late just to finish Sanctuary. Moved the first poll to history page. Added link to history page. Seems like someone stacked the poll in favor of Garumin. He's cool and all, but was it really worth it? Only new characters are listed in the poll because those are the only ones of our creation.

June 06, 2001: Yes, we're late. Blame it on 30 days of procrastination by my co-author. But there it is, Sanctuary Part 2! A bit more light-hearted than Part 1, but I hope you like it. Please vote for Part 1 at the Best of Ranma Fanfiction Awards! Work on Part 3 starts immediately, I promise! See the Part 2 Poll. Added link.

May 28, 2001: For my loyal fans (do I have any?), I have a not-so-final draft of the first section of Part 2. Ryoga hunts for Ranma and finds someone else. The story ends rather abruptly only because I've purposefully left out the ending. It will undoubtedly be edited before the final RAAC release. Any early comments would be appreciated. New favorite added.

May 21, 2001: Sanctuary's Prologue is the 2nd Best Ranma Fanfiction Miniseries of April 2001! Thanks to everyone who voted. Please vote for Part 1 when voting begins on June 1. Remember that date! Vinita has promised to have Part 2 ready for release on that day! Encourage her! In other news, Vinita has started work at a restaurant and now she thinks she's Karuma...

May 18, 2001: School's out! Yay! More time for both of us to write. We're both finally done with high school. Adjusted progress bars. The plots of both parts are fully planned. Vinita is writing an estimated 1000 words a day to get Part 2 out to you. Write to her and encourage her. Thanks to everyone who has responded to our work!

May 12, 2001: Adjusted the anchor for the Fanfiction Ideas link. Added Mappy from The Anime Adoption Agency. Isn't he cute? And popular too it seems. He's surrounded by scantily clad women. I've asked the Agency to deal with Mappy's promscuity problem. And I've determined that no one actually visits the Updates History Page.

May 11, 2001: Added nav bar at top of page. Added new Sanctuary poll. Added new story idea. Added counter to History page to see how many people actually go there. Added progress indicators for Sanctuary Parts 2 and 3 so you keep coming back! We've already had 200 hits to this site. I'd estimate 20 of them are probably me. That makes 180 other hits! Wow!

May 09, 2001: Added a new favorite fanfiction. Added link to the Best of Ranma Fanfiction awards so that you all can vote for me. Wow! I've already got 80+ visitors to this site! (This huge jump followed the release of Sanctuary Part 1 to RAAC.) Hmm... I should add a link to there and the Superhighway as well.

May 08, 2001: Added some teasers for Sanctuary Parts 2 and 3. Both are in progress. Things go faster when you have two writers. Fixed a spelling mistake. Report others found here.

May 06, 2001: Sanctuary Part 1 posted. Lack of email link noted and fixed. Counter added. Hit reload a few times to inflate my ego. Added Favorite Fanfiction section.

April 10, 2001: Sanctuary Prologue final draft is up, as posted to RAAC. Chapter 1 is half done. Fanfiction ideas area added. Links were added and then the stupid thing deleted itself and I'm too lazy to redo it right now.
